Study Tips (Spelling)

Be careful with computer spell checkers! They are unable to catch some errors. If a word is spelled correctly and used in the wrong place or way, the spell checker will pass it right by. Always double-check your work by reading through it yourself.

A good way to check for spelling errors is to look through you paper starting at the end. Look at each word as you work your way backwards to the beginning. By not reading the sentences, you'll be able to focus on the individual words.
