The Last Video About This Book #speakenglish
Hello everyone, I hope you're doing well! Today, I'm going to try speaking in English to explain a little about a challenge I set for myself using this book: "365 Brain Puzzles." The reason for this project is that I like to take on small challenges for motivation, and I also like the idea of setting these little challenges. This book put me to the test and also helped me improve my English vocabulary a bit. For me, it's a fun way to learn and improve my English skills. That's why I set this goal, which started spontaneously in February of last year, beginning with the first page on February 3rd, and concluding with the last page on February 5th of this year. I was really happy to finish this book because, despite the time it took, this small challenge taught me several things. First, I learned that I have to be more patient with myself and encourage myself when I'm about to give up. I also understood that even if a goal seems simple or insignificant, it can change your way of thinking, and the most important thing is the process of taking daily action, no matter how you feel. For me, that was the most important thing in completing this challenge, and I became aware of some bad habits I have when it comes to finishing a goal. I have often abandoned any challenge I set for myself, even if it seemed insignificant. This is the first time I've done something consistently for such a long period. The truth is that I realized that we can think of any simple goal as something unnecessary or insignificant, and you can choose to forget about it or finish it. But the process of doing something day after day, which seems boring and tedious, can also make you think that it's just for today, and that's what helps us grow and, above all, realize that we are capable of doing and finishing what seemed insignificant to us.
Every day I understand more and more that phrase: "The difference is in the small details."
This challenge reminded me of one that I have in the back of my mind, a challenge that I have not completed: "500 words a day." I really set that challenge to write and tried it, but I only lasted a few days, maybe two months. In those two months, it was only intermittent, not a daily challenge, even though the challenge was to write at least one text of 500 words each day, so I forgot about it. I still have my texts saved. I hope to complete it soon, and no matter how long it takes, I will write my 365 days of 500 words, and at this moment, I have already made up my mind that I have to have those 599-word texts, completing the 365 days of writing, and I already said it: "No matter how many years it takes, but I do want to complete it." I take this opportunity to explain that this "500 words a day" challenge is a text in English, and of course, my first language is Spanish, and it is a bit difficult for me because sometimes I don't have the time or the desire to remember what happened in my day, much less in English, since there are days that, frankly, are not worth remembering.
So that I don't get discouraged in this challenge, I propose to myself to only write a 500-word text that can describe a unique and important moment from each day, relying on observing nature, a person, an object, or something that is different in my daily life. It's a matter of putting in the effort and becoming a more observant person in the small details.
Returning to the 365-day "search words" challenge, I am happy to have finished this challenge, and now I want to take advantage of the words I learned to improve my ability to speak English, because I certainly learned more than one. Thank you so much for joining me these 365 days watching my short videos here on YouTube, and of course, I couldn't miss the amigurumi at the beginning of each video, sharing one of my favorite hobbies, crochet. Thank you! It was a pleasure to share my result!
And by the way, I take this opportunity to tell you that everything I am saying, I wrote myself, but I also used the tools of Google Translate and Gemini.
Without more to say, I appreciate your visit to my channel and that you have reached the end.
I'll read you in the comments and until the next video here on "Estrés Creativo." My name is Lidia Zúñiga.
