Big Ben (Great Britain)
Parliamentary Clock Tower
The Clock Tower of Britain's Houses of Parliament in Westminster, London, is the world's largest four-faced, chiming clock. The tower itself is often called "Big Ben," but this is actually the name of the 16-ton Great Bell housed in the tower. The Clock Tower was designed in the Gothic revival style by Augustus Pugin and built in 1858. It stands 316 feet tall (93.3 meters).
